–Project Recap–

What went well: The entire project went fairly well due to my previous year of experiences in C.D.E 1. I would say my greatest success was my 3D modeling project due to that being my best field of work. I have done many of these in the past making this a quick and easy portion of the Maker Quals.

What didn’t go to well: Again, I had no major issues with this project, but I ran into a few errors with my stickers and sewing. My stickers were designed fine, but due to my lack of knowledge of Silhouette Studios I had a few errors in the printing process. I sewed a mask which ended up to small simply because I have never sewn before.

What would I improve: If I were to improve anything in this project, I would have spent more time on my 3D model. I rushed through my 3D model because I knew I could make an acceptable project in a very short period of time. I feel like I could have made an excellent project rather than one that was just ok.

What standards did I meet: I think I met the Innovate and Explore, Reflect and Share, and the Show Ownership standard. I innovated and explored by trying out new things such as sewing and soldering. I Reflected and Shared by creating this project page. I Showed Ownership of my projects by creating a sticker that says who made the project.

What standards did I not meet: I don’t think I met the Plan and Design standard because I spent much less time planning as I did actually making the projects due to me wanting to get an actual project result rather than just a plan. I also did not meet the Make and Craft standard because it didn’t apply to this project.
