MAKE: The prototype for me has been the process of reprinting and redesigning each piece to fit specific needs. There hasn’t been a definite “prototype” in this project, but just multiple phases.
TEST: I had to remake the queen and knight to make them look better, and fit their roles more properly. I have had to reprint the pawns multiple times due to the printer messing up or me not liking the size. I just need to find the perfect balance for my final version.
DESIGN: I have made my pieces 3D printed so that they have a smooth look. I chose wood and 3D printer filament as my materials because they work well together and look nice.
